tailgate protection

    Just had a topper installed and I am worried about the door gasket wearing through my paint on the upper part of the tailgate.. do you all have any recommendations ?

    go for the relentless fab tailgate reinforcement. Full wraparound tailgate skin... much better.

    But really i dont see how a topper is gonna wear paint off, the stock tailgate has the plastic cap

    Agreed on that, if the tailgate protection is wanted and not just the top rail of the tailgate.

    stuff that makes it better for my use...
    I used this Allstar Performance ALL14275 Clear 2" x 30' Surface Guard Tape I had some left over from a job I did I took the cap off and applied it, so far so good not as heavy duty as the one stated above which is really cool.
