    I have a set of these but never used them. I actually wanted to lift the front because I would like a little more support under my legs but I finally found my comfort zone.

    Been doing some measuring and noticed my new rear Fox shocks have a fitment problem. After searching on here other folks have had the same problem, bummer!! Looks like I'll exchange these for the Bilstien 5160's.

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.

    What's the fitment issue?

    The feed line that feeds the reservoir is short. Apparently you have to send them to fox so they can put longer lines on. These are designed to clamp to each other and you can't place them correctly without having issues. Here's a thread describing it. The 5160's will be a better fit. It's what I should have gone with from the start. I'm always learning with this truck! It's been a fun project! Lol!

    Haha! I new that was coming! Well when I made the choice to go with the 6112's they were designed to be paired up with the 5160 resis shock. At that time I chose to go non resis with the 2.0 fox. Now that I'm adding 1 1/2 " of lift with the Icon 3leaf AAL I wanted to have the proper shock for the height increase, and complement the front 6112's. Thanks.

    :D Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging or anything. I was just curious if there was a particular reason resis would work better for you or if you wanted them just because. Not that there's anything wrong with 'just because', I just can't afford to do much of it myself, being so poor I can't even pay attention. ;) Most of my upgrades these days are carefully selected to add practical capability or durability. I think the cab clearance lights and the paint job (right after I got the truck) were the last things I did 'just because'. :oops:

    And happy 4th to you too Jim...and the rest of my TW brothers and sisters. :fistbump:

    No worries Lee! That was a good question. The shock set will now be correctly matched. Similar to the pro and baja models. Your cab lights and paint color are unique and we all upgrade and personalize our trucks to our own liking. I think I'll have a great riding truck after these new parts are installed. Well I'm starting a 11hr overtime work day, have a good one! :thumbsup:

    Just got conformation from headstrong that the 5160's are shipping out and a full return including shipping for the Foxes to go back! Awesome folks to deal with!! Now I can concentrate on finishing this suspension build. :bikewhoops:

    The OEM extended travel Short front bump stops and factory rear brake line spacer has been delivered. The bump stop washers were included in the TRD suspension hardware kit. Posting this picture for anyone needing the part# and a description.
