Just find a renowned tatttoo artist. They will be able to do what ever you want. Whether it's a portrait, lettering, logo, or whatatever, a good tattoo artist can make anything look great - it just depends on what you want them to do.

If you want a tatt of 2 ugly faces on you arm, they can make that look good. Or if you want a symbol that represents the rest of your life, they can make that look great too. (I prefer the latter)

funny you said that. when i get hte money, my next tat will be an octopus on my back of my upper left arm, with the tentacles going down and around my arm. I'm getting it just cause i think octopi are the coolest animals on the planet. however, didn't you say you wanted something meaningful? there is nothing wrong with getting a tat of an octopus cause you like octopus's, but i wouldn't call it meaningful.

I have been thinking about getting one in honor of my Dad who passed away 4 months ago yesterday. He was an Air Force pilot in Vietnam who flew the RF-4 Phantom. He was shot down on 11 December 1968. He survived and was rescued but his navigator was never found and was declared an MIA. I was thinking of getting a silhouette of his plane (the F-4 Phantom had a very distinctive silhouette) with his call sign that night and maybe the date.

My friend owns a laser tattoo removal business in your area. I highly recommend you obtain all the random tattoos you can fathom and your wallet will allow.

In all seriousness, you're a young guy and like others have said it's probably better to wait. I know of scores of folks who end up spending a fair amount of money removing the shit they thought was cool 10-20 years ago.

I love tattoos, and I plan to have full sleeves in the not-so distant future. But I feel that by asking other people what you should get, you're not sure what you want. In my mind, you would be better off waiting until you think of something on your own that means a lot to you. Otherwise I think you'll regret it later.

This is one of my many. I am working on a polynesian/tiki themed sleeve on my left arm which is just an outline right now.

What would you rather I sugar coat it? The tattoo is fucking terrible. Regardless of who did it, if I had artwork like that on me i'd be embarrassed.
