I had 16" Moto Metal 951s and decided to upgrade to 17". Always loved the look of the wheel, so ended up getting the same wheels, but I wanted them to be a little different. I always thought the wheels would look better all black and once I saw "tacoridinhigh's" truck with the all black 951s, I wanted to get it done.

    Here's just a quick teaser pic :p

I had them done at a friend's paint shop. Did the center caps too and got all black Gorilla lugs. They are already mounted on the truck and they look sick, but I'm gonna wait until I redo my lift before I post pics.

My friend has a body shop and he did them. I'm not sure what materials he used. He masked off the whole wheel and just painted the brushed accents. The finish matches 100% perfect and there is no tape seam, he did a good job.

Great Idea. Their are so many wheels that would look 100x better if they were all black... The 951 is one of those wheels...

Just realized your wheel is on your kitchen sink... niiiiiice

No, they are just painted. I was going to do powder, but for it to be right, I'd have to have the wheels chemically stripped first and then have the whole wheel powdered. That would have been around $200-$250. I had them painted for $20 per wheel.
