    You guys interested?

Agreed, most of the trails that i've been on are much easier than Ardbeg.
also iirc the numbering system is an attempt to standardize the trails but it's also arbitrary.

Ardbeg is listed at 2, 2+ and that trail feels far rougher than what's out around those parts. Granted i've not been on the trails we'd be hitting on. but there is, as said, a spider web of trails that are fairly easy to travers, most of the time i've been in the area i would be in 2wd.

Describe these "level 3 trails" similar to like what @Tridet167 , @Norilsk and I did with some of those offshoots at Ardbeg?
I'll have to keep you posted as I'm supposed to be meeting up with a friend that weekend.

Yeah I'm talking to buddy that rented the jeep on our last outing and showing him pics of these trails. He's considering doing it again but getting insurance this time... LOL

OF4WD has Ardbeg listed North 3 and South 3+. is there another rating system for Ontario trails you use?

I think I may have said it was a 2 to him the other day unless he does have another rating system.

I feel like the 3+ rating for the south trail isn’t accurate. You can take a stock vehicle down south. Hell the subarus ran it the other day. I believe there is 3+ offshoots but with so many bypasses that you can avoid them. I think this trail being a 3 is closer to north or black loop where there isn’t any bypasses. You take the obstacle or that’s it kinda deal.

i have no "other" grading system. Ardbeg north trail felt significantly more difficult than south trail and 90% of the trails that I've done out east feel significantly easier than south trail at Ardbeg.

i agree. i wouldn't put Ardbeg south at a 3+ either but i guess it can depend on lines taken/weather/water levels/etc

always hard to tell from a couple short videos but from skimming through them but these trails seem more Concession like which i would rate more difficult than Ardbeg.

i want to join you guys but its so damn far for me. anyone going up friday morning?

I’ll be going up Friday I believe.

also to add to the confusion. Minden or scotch line is a 2+ amd it is much more difficult than Ardbeg south. Don’t believe the trails have been updated.

non the less we are just exploring. I don’t have any expectations other then getting out.
