A few recommendations: You definitely need to keep an eye on temps while on the dunes, my transmission was getting warm and need a good break after a bit.

keep your head on a swivel, slow and fast vehicles coming in from every direction with some less then attentive drivers.

Check your air filters before and after. Mine was relatively new going in but I brought a spare and replaced it before heading home. My airbox has also accumulated a decent amount of sand that I cleaned out.

Overall an amazing experience that I highly recommend

What tire pressure were you running on the sand?

Are you running E rated tires? It's hard to tell if they are flattening out at all. That sand looks really deep and soft. I run E rated tires and have to go down to about 8psi before they start to flatten out. It's one of the disadvantages of running heavy truck tires on a light vehicle. Normal P-rated tires seem to do better on the sand.

No these are not E rated, they start to fold down at around 18psi, by 12psi they are pretty beefy at the bottom. The sand was very soft and fluffy

Dang. I'd probably have to run my tires at 0psi.

You'd be surprised. My 33 e-loads start to get pretty flat looking at 12psi

Mine don't. I normally run 8psi on the beach and they barely look aired down. My last offroading trip, I had a flat front tire and didn't even notice until after a couple of trails.

Great info....still waiting for my permits to arrive in the mail. Called the DNR yesterday and they said there was a big delay in making the decals..slow getting them out.

FYI....you can now book passport renewal appointments online. For those that do not want to wait in line for 19 hours.
I did my son's and I was in and out in 15 min and they "say" it will arrive in the mail in 20 days.

After Sunday, you won’t need all the shots to enter the US. In case that affects anyone.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
