Tech Package Headlights Vs Non Tech Package

I'm looking at a TRD sport access cab Taco and I have a question about the headlights in the tech package. Are the LED running lights the only difference? I've searched the forum and I've seen the word HID dropped with the tech package headlights but I'm not sure if that is 100 percent accurate. Thanks for the help.

 

Tech package is JBL, parking sensors, rear cross traffic alert also.

 

I think the only difference headlight wise with tech package is auto headlights

 

If this is factual then I can live without tech package. I'd like to have the other stuff but it's no big deal.

 

You don't have to get the JBL to get the tech package. LED Daytime Running Lamps are standard with the TRD or Limited models.

- Rear Parking Sonar
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Auto Headlamps

 

Must be a regional thing, here in nor cali, you can NOT get the tech package with out JBL.

I have everything listed except JBL which is premium/tech.

It goes premium/tech which has:
-Front Dual Zone Climate Control
- Heated Front Seats
- Rear Parking Sonar
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Auto Headlamps
- moon roof

Then P/T w/ JBL

Then P/T w JBL and options, which encompasses the first two least expensive packages, the tow package and tonneau cover.

 

Odd because if you look for what the OP stated, a TRD sport access cab, you can't find one in nor cal..

Of course you can find that package with OTHER models, but the TRD SPORT is one that you can't find.. I looked and couldn't find one and dealer stated they can't get it so I ended up with a NON Tech package model because I didn't want to pay extra for the JBL.
