I'm getting the same thing. Do you remember what the fix was? Or did you give up on it? Wireless off/on, copy/paste, manually typing in code and it reacts the same way. The registration screen goes away for a couple seconds, then comes back up. Same behavior in v14.20.019 and I jumped through the hoops with MHH and tried v16.00.017. Have also done multiple uninstall and reboots.

 

It is there on new TS releases as well. The workaround is posted in red text on the 1st Post of the ECU Update thread.

But . . . Just turn off wifi when you Connect to Vehicle.

 

I'm not sure if this was covered before, but if you're using TS and getting the prompt in the pic below, download java and install and the prompt will go away

Finally got v14.20.019 to work. Didn't do anything different, but 3rd time's a charm. No more trying to upgrade for me, I guess. Although what started all this was a new 'puter. Thanks for the help!

I guess this would qualify as a TS Tips or Trick. Attached is a new TSB for testing the injectors.

Edit: Quality advice from the dealermole.

 

Put it against the seat frame and it's adjustable by sliding the seat. Works as a cruise control mod also.

 

Hello guys, I hooked up my computer and the flash cable. Ignition on. Run the cuw file. and here is the connection erro message i got:


My batter is fully charged voltage reading good. Laptop plugged in.
What else is missing here?

also turned off the wifi. and still got the same error message. not sure what's wrong.

 

You turned off the wife. There's your problem.

 

just corrected my typo lol. but wife still needs to be turned off sometimes especially when im in the garage doing my stuff.

Try a different USB port . Try connect to vehicle function 1st and see what happens
Assuming you are using Tactrix OBDII .

 

Yeah i did switched around and tried different ports and also unplugged mouse and such.
and i believe im using the tactrix odb2. orded the stuff down below.

 

Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest driver from the tactrix website.

In techstream, go to setup>VIM select.

Pick the tactrix option from the dropdown menu.

Also make sure your truck is on but not in accessory. 2 button presses if you have PTS.
