    New quandry:
I'm having a problem getting TS to successfully change the seatbelt warning tone for both the driver and passenger seatbelts.
I've used version 16.20.023 and now have upgraded to 17.30.011 to no avail. The indications within the program seem fine and everything else I have tried to do with TS have taken effect properly, I've had success changing many other features using TS. Just can't get rid of that annoying tone when seatbelts are not on. The indications within TS act normally with highlighted fields and saving looks like it is completed within the program. 2021 Off Road access cab 55,000 miles.

I am having an issue with logging onto Techstream V16.10.016. I got the registration key thru MHH auto but now it wants me to sign into my account with a username and password. I have no account and I didn't see any place to register for an account. Is there a way to bypass this or to get an account? thanks for any help.

Do not sign in, use the offline function.

What cable is everyone using for 2nd gens? I'm not looking for ECU programming, I just want the ability to load the 8 or so modules for my 2015, program TPMS, read diagnostic and some of the VSC/ABS utilities. I've seen what appears to be a knock off Tactrix cable for pretty cheap here: https://www.obd2eshop.com/wholesale/tactrix-openport-20-ecuflash.html

I use the "real" Tactrix as I wanted something I knew would work and I could get help with here..., however this thread seems to be somewhat inactive.

Is this Tactrix openport 2.0 what you’re using currently $169? https://www.tactrix.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.product_details&product_id=17&

I saw someone here bought vxdiag and made it work with techstream.

I’m wondering what the easiest/most reliable way to get a working copy of techstream going on an offline computer, for recent taco model years.

A lot of info/posts seem possibly dated. All i want to do in the near term that i have not already is rotate wheels and update tpms, without using carista. Carista for $10 was not bad to do most settings. But techstream may be handy for other things in the future.

I've been looking into this also. I lost my last version when my computer died and I'm going to need to change the trans fluid eventually

I use 12.10 version (up to 2018 models). But I used it successfully to update settings on 2022 toyota. You don't need the highest version for basics.
Tactrix is preferred if you are into a tunning. Otherwise, use whatever works with techstream
On the same note, techstream is way better app for the data logging.
Techstream has built-in functions to test/troubleshoot systems, but there are products that have the same capabilities. May cause a few hundreds.

Has anyone been able to use techstream to change the safety protocols Toyota has put in the trucks from the factory. I.e the truck shutting off when the door is opened or unlocked after remote start used. Or having parking lights turn on when using the remote start. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

There was definite talk that made me think there was no way to keep the truck running when the door opens.
I'm still working on getting techstream to work again after switching computers. I'm going to have to figure out the new process cause my old stuff isn't working

Good to know, I’ll have to check that out. @AORDN you have to let me know what you end up doing I’m interested in using the software. Thanks
