Technically my TCM is still in the learning phase of its life so if I reset adaptive now, I might extend or introduce something new. I'll give it a few hundred more before bringing up to the dealer and just get some data points for now. I've seen random folks reporting on 19's with this issue and even some who got the TSB applied still seeing it. Not a huge deal if you know that its there but annoying trying to back out of a tight garage. I'll at least get it logged with dealer and go from there. Thanks @tonered.

    You're welcome!

    A few notes:

-- Adaption is more or less complete in about 500mi. 1k for certain. Resets do no real harm and a lot of that adaption happens in the first few miles. Those miles were spent in the hands of factory, transpo, and lot porters as well as hapless test drivers. :D

-- Yes. The TSBs do not completely solve the issues with the Stock tune. They do improve things quite a bit though. In all honesty, the only real solution is the vF / OVT 2.0 Tunes. They are what we should have had Stock.

    -- I have a tight garage also. Inches leeway. A front camera and @BigWhiteTRD 's and @lapoltba 's 2LM really helps there.

Does anyone know if the "hood ajar" notification can be disabled/turned off on the 2020's with TS? I am considering asking the dealer if they can do this for me. Every time I air back up, my hood is open and I have to hit the back button to cancel the notification to get back to my tire pressure readings.

This may help, but need to confirm.

I went through all the settings today and did not see a setting for for the hood specifically. On the other hand, it's a momentary switch so you could probably just open or close circuit permanently.

So I got TIS to work. I can see TPMS data, I can select modules and activate them.

I am getting an Error on Engine and ECT Live when I click on 'data list'. I believe this list gives me real time engine data which is pretty importation to diagnose issues. Everything else works but this feature.

    Anyone know why?

There is a data list in my share that you can import that gives a lot of the main PIDs.

For you, my only guess could be a comms issue with the cable? You might try to find updated drivers since the clone often ship with out of date stuff?

I do not think its the cable since I am getting repeated errors only in this field.

How can I importat the data list? Thanks for the help.

I don't know what to tell you, but comm issues like that were noted in the past. Updated drivers or another cable would rule out the problem. It is highly unlikely that it is your ECU or OBD comms. It might be the particular PID might not be the right one for your ECU? TS is universal for all Toyotas / Lexus.

The data list was just an easy import versus hand picking the PIDs from the list. It is all just diagnostics and monitoring. Nothing really to be gleaned unless there is a problem.

    Just for reference
I emailed the person I got the sw from, lets see what he has to say.

If I want a oem cable that TIS recommends. I know its pricey, what have people used in the past?

I can almost guarantee it is a cable issue. The Tactrix cable works perfectly and is relatively cheap.

The seller is a good starting point. Also, take a look at what is on the disk. You should be able to determine where the drivers are from and DL the current ones.

Yeah. The default Toyota cable is too expensive. The only known, less expensive cable is the Tactrix one.

Do you have a link to purchase the Tactrix DL?
