If I had to pick I would say Uncle Ted.

But I am not sure you can really compare the two. Frampton has not had near the longevity of Nugent. Frampton had a decent run in the mid 70's but that was about it...his discography is short, if it wasn't for Frampton comes Alive no one would have ever really taken notice. Now don't get me wrong, Frampton Comes Alive is a great album, one of the original great live rock albums, but I think these two are hard to compare. I am trying to think of someone else to compare to Uncle Ted, but I am drawing a blank, he is really in a class of his own.

Nugent also had Stranglehold...the ultimate "cocaine" anthem, so he pretty much has a leg up.
