I have a Tocoma 05 toco 4 door sr5 prerunner trd auto transmission. I am trying to install a temp gauge to transmission to monitor fluid temp. In the instru with the gauge it says to check & see if the sensor on the toco is sent to the computer & if removing or replacing the the sensor that comes with the gauge will cause problems. Also I need to know where to install the sensor that comes with the temp gauge. Pictures would help a lot.

Thanks for the reply & pictures. I love where you installed the gauge. Where did you get the pillow post.
    Thanks again

I think that is the best place for an accurate temp.

You did not have to ground the sender? Maybe it can get a ground through the fluid?
