Hey guys, been doing a ton of research and it seems like there’s a ton of paid camping spots here, but I’m looking for to get a little more secluded. Anyone know of any camp spots that could provide that??

I'd go over to the Tennessee Region subforum and ask there. This subforum is primarily used to describe already taken adventures, so you won't get as many eyes on your question here in Trip Reports.

I know a buddy that went camping in Paris, TN and loved it. I'll check with him and report back.

I did a business trip to Paris last year. Its ok, but land-between-the-lakes and Big Sandy are gorgeous.

On the opposite side, I have found spots just barely outside of the Smokies or foothills pkwy to be very isolated. Everyone goes running into the smokies or Gatlinburg. Few people explore whats just outside. And there is a lot to explore north/northeast of Knoxville, also.

    Its a cool state.

And its still paid, but if you want really private stuff, sign up on Hipcamp. Most of my favorite top-secret spots (east of the Rockies) have all been on there.
