So after pulling up to the hotel in laughlin, the pulley was making a lot of noise. As we were checking it out it literally seized there on the spot.

Closest dealership is 60 miles away.

    Theres an autozone in town.

There are hundreds of race teams in town including SDHQ who im volunteering for.

    Should I:
    1. Get a generic pulley from autozone
    2. Wait til ppl wake up and see if anyone has a spare?

    Thanks!

I'd go generic. My stock one went at 60k, how much worse can the generic be?

Damn that sucks! I would get a generic for the time being and get it replaced, and then you can do research on Autozone vs. factory pulleys. I'm with Front sight, I can't see that there is a huge difference in pulleys.

Oh, and if you wait until everyone wakes up you may not find what you need and then you are set back that much more time.

Oreillys matched me with an almost identical pulley. After some washers for fitment, ended up back on the race course chasing the entire day! Total fix time under one hour
