Im looking to possibly get a cot tent. Something for two people, will just be the dog and i though. But for truck camping, id like that easy set up, dont want a rooftop tent.
    Anyone have one theyd recommend.

The wife and I used a Cabelas double tent cot for a while. Wasn't bad. But it is a bit bulky and heavy. The single would probably work fine for you though, depending on the size of your dog...

    Yep - same one shown. It's my poor man's over-lander set-up...;)
Plenty large for me at 6'2 215 and my dog Tucker, (that's him in the photo) at 115 lbs
I set it up in the bed of my truck.

Tentcots are fantastic to sleep in. You’re off the ground, covered, and comfortable. Much like a RTT but without the hit to your mpgs. The biggest issue is the size. They are huge and cumbersome units. Another option might be a Canvas Cutter bedroll. They are on the ground, but self contained, tough, lighter/smaller, and honestly even more comfortable. My dad has both, he’s 55 and now uses the Canvas Cutter exclusively. https://canvascutter.com/. Personally, I’m looking at getting a Mountain Hatch tent. They look to be about perfect. https://mountainhatch.org/products/mountain-hatch-bring-a-buddy-swag-tent
