TEQ grill badge available for 01-04 first gens

I had this TEQ grill badge custom made by Brad @ www.bh3dprinting.com He was great to work with and makes a great product. He makes these badges for many other Toyota vehicles as well as interior cup holders. Until now these were not available for the 01-04 Tacomas to my knowledge. I wanted to share the finished prototype he made for me encase others had the same interest. Brad mentioned he will have these up for the (01-04) Tacoma grills on his website the first part of Dec 2016. If I am not mistaken these will fit the 96-02 3rd gen 4Runners grills as well. I measured a friends 2000 4Runner grill and the dimensions are the same as the 01-04 Tacoma grill badges. These are CNC'd and made out of aluminum with double sided tape that sticks to a custom backing plate that he made to fit into the existing Toyota emblem for a flat surface for the new badge to rest on.

What does TEQ mean?

TEQ is "To-yo-ta" spelled in Katakana

 

I was wondering if he knew how much they where going to be priced at, since they are not listed in the link yet.

 

Been learning hiragana and katakana for a while now and its weird looking at it and actually reading it as to-yo-ta.

Its actually トョタ

 

Will it increase my trucks performance ?
If so... I'll have to figure out where I could put it.

I got word from Brad today that he will probably have a batch done by Black Friday and posted on the site with a price. The prices on his website will probably give you a ballpark price. He said he will be on here to chim in with any questions soon.

Brad sent me a message saying he has been super busy since Christmas covering orders and making new products. Looks nice! I have his cupholders in my truck and am thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these.

 

Well worth it I think. Mine has been through -F temps, high pressure water spray and all day sun and it's still solid and not faded at all.
