My nephew I just shortened his steer stops this morning. We cut them down to 2” and the truck now turns like it did stock. One piece of advice I’d give is if you do it, use a grinder to cut most of the way through the stop, then cut the rest of the way through with a sawzall and a cast iron blade. Makes the job quick and easy. No issues with the tires rubbing anything. He has 285s.

I'm in the process of getting a 2013 Tacoma with a 5 or 6 inch lift. While test driving it I had the same problem, I thought it was because I'm used to my civic but had to be something else. The lift put on it by the guy who traded it in is mismatched. Rough country in the front Fabtech in the back. I sent it back to the dealer to figure out the problem. Seems simple but if they dont figure it out I'm not saying shit and will use it in my negotiations. Get me a better deal and fix myself hopefully.

Good thinking! Save money and fix it for free in about 20 mins. Good luck with the purchase!
