    it seems to me that a lot of texans have switched over to tundras from the 150's and 1500's. can anyone try to explain this? is this because they are made in San Antonio and they believe in "taking care of their own" or whats the deal?

    It's a luxurious truck that can work if it has to.

    Where I see the Tundra used, is in Dallas, San Antonio, and the like. They are usually the contractors trucks that are mostly business hubs that get dirty.

    Where I live, where our farms are, you're hard pressed to find a toyota truck in general, unless it's the kids with the old pickups and first gens that are tearin through town all mudded up. The only trucks I see working on a daily basis, are FORDS (YEEEEHAAWWWW) usually F250's, 350's, and 450's. And Dodges, 2500's, and 3500's.

    I hardly see Chevys. Period.
