I searched for this, but couldn't find a thread.

What are the laws like for auxiliary lights? Like lights on a light bar or bull bar. I've read somewhere that you can have 4 headlamps at once. So if you didn't have super bright off-road lights, but had some driving lights, could you run your head lights and 2 other lights (not fog lights) in town/city limits as well? Does anyone have any experience with these laws?

I'm going to be adding some additional lights and I've always been curious what the rules are about that.

    Thanks guys.

2 headlights and 2 auxillary driving lamps. There is a max and min height requirement for headlights and aux's as well but I don't know it off the top of my head.

Unless the cop wants to be a dick ya think they are gonna enforce it?
I would think the guy doing your state inspection would be more trouble.

So do you guys remove these things before state inspection? Then put it back. Or what's the process here in Texas?
