    Hello all,

Just purchased my Black 2005 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab on Friday for what I think was a great price! :taco: It is a 4banger but as this is my first truck and will probably be a home depot queen (buying first house in 2months) and see the occasional mud roads and trails. The mods already done are revtek 2" spacers and 285-75-16 BFG MUD tires, which makes the ride a little stiff but nothing too crazy :turtleride:. My question to you is how can I tell if this thing is really a TRD Off Road Package? I did a search on this forum to see what the vin# could tell me but I got nothing, so any help would be greatly appreciated? Here is pic...hopefully I did it right...

The TRD has different options, someone who has one could tell you. Mine is only a SR5, but i'm sure you could look up the package differences on the Toyota website.

Welcome! I picked up almost the exact same truck about a month ago. Still a rookie to the Tacoma World, but I think the TRD Off Road package has a better suspension setup, TRD interior and perhaps a few more additions. I've got a V6 4wd and I don't know if there would be a difference between a pre-runner I4.
