If you want it to not look like a hack job, then a Repaint is very expensive. I would just leave it. Prep is very time consuming and to make it look great you need to disassemble everything, doors, seals. Engine bay, Windows. Or else it will look ok like poo.

I like the dark green of the 1st gens, you can put some bronze rims on it so I say go for it

 

Gonna be pricey for it to be done right. i would say just leave it alone. It gives it character.

 

Hey I love your truck! What is the back spacing and offset on your rims? I'm tryi. To decide if I want spacers and don't want to order them after the wheels are on and pay for another I install

 

Sexy 98-00

 

^ yes, good looking truck, and thanks for keeping the 98-00 front end. Everybody with these years seems to do a front end conversion.....

 

For real. I'm a fan of the 98-00 front end once you swap the head lights and bumper

 

Yeah I was gonna swap mine but the retro made it harder and now my bumper basically makes it impossible for me to switch now

I honestly have no idea, I was given the rims! I'am running BORA 1.5in wheel spacers.

 

Lately I have been really considering the conversion. Its more appealing to my eye and I love the raised hood. So we'll see what happens in the next few months!!

I though the same thing, so when my 99 was totalled I bought an 03. I miss the 99. Was way better than the 03 in the looks department imho. You can compare them on the first page of my prerun hard build in my sig
