I was back home for the holidays during this so unfortunately I wasn't able to attend, but I was in a formation when they brought Specialist Snow's remains to Wright-Patterson AFB. It was extremely sad, especially for the family. We had an emergency commander's call warning us to stay away from the freakin protesters just because all they want is the attention and if anybody in the military were to do something it would just give them the satisfaction of knowing they piss us off. But I was astounded to see how these people in the community came together to block the views of any protesters. It's people like that that still give me hope.

The article isn't available, but I suspect it's about the Patriot Guard. If any of you folks have a motorcycle parked next to your Taco, I highly encourage participation. Until we get our azzes out of these pointless wars, it's a very honorable way of escorting home those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
