    Hmm,

Well it needs to be capable of transporting four adults comfortably if needed. (DCSB)
Or two adults and two kids. (DCSB)
    V6 for sure, (DCSB)
Automatic for the wife and family to use. (DCSB)

We would be getting rid of my 2015 Access Cab 4-cal and the 2000 Land Cruiser too.
The LC has crazy mileage but was a Corp vehicle it’s first 16 years with excellent records. I’m the second owner on it.

I’d love a few of the upgrades on the SR5 but honestly just want the cheapest DC they make and it’s the SR. I find myself now looking for a close 2017 SR DCSB as I’ve found two in Tennessee on Carguru. In Silver to boot!

    Ahhh. Okay.

Yeah I would do the DCSB SR. I would get the convenience pkg. I think it would still leave you room to modify how you want it.

cash cost and the rear already has limited slip. Not the most important thing IMO for what I want to do. Roof rack and tent more important. Working my way back from front end to back, slowly as expendable cash is available.

Once you add weight to the back you will also gain a little more traction. Let us know how it goes.

What kind of lift do you have?

Yeah, if we end up in a 2017 it would have Conv and Tow only.
If a 2018 just Conv as the tow package is now standard on V6 trucks.

Makes sense, have fun modding it man. It’s such a nice clean slate!

I’ve even been looking into the similarities of the Sienna van radios as they seem to be identical to the upper trim models and the same color backlighting. But are loads cheaper on eBay!

    That's right.

So the radios have the same plugs making it a plug and play system?

My first investigation into them led me to believe they really may...

I found some great pictures of the Entune units in the 2016 and 2017 TRD trucks, all non JBL.

Then started really looking at the dimensions and the plug locations and found Sienna van radios on eBay with lots of pictures for references and it seemed for under 100 bucks or less I would be willing to try! I can’t remember what years though.

I have a 2015 SR5 Radio right now in my Base 2015 but also have an XM antenna and GPS antenna. So everything works.

I almost traded in my 16 DCSB OR a couple of days ago for a new 17 DCSB SR. But they started playing games with the trade in value.

They can keep their lousy nav system and crawl control as my payment would have been almost half.

Anyways, I have my 16 posted for sale on this site. Congrats on the peaceful divorce.

Be sure to take out the Flux Capacitor before you sell.

If I may suggest, try Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. Traveling above the clouds is like an out of body experience as was the like 60 miles of gas pedal free descent. I definitely would do it again. Continue up through Alberta & spend some "greenbacks", they go a little farther up here these days.

It was an absolute must to be there at least once a year for Canada Days & the Kokanee Salmon run back when I lived in Southern Alberta. Wonder if Moose's Saloon is still around in Kalispell Montana?

I'll have to check it out. I was thinking of passing through Alberta. I have much to learn of Canada and what to do/see. Is there anything else I should be aware of when traveling through Canada?

What if we got a group of people to do a endurance trip across America. Proving the 4cyl is the best. Think 18hr per day engine runs, 10k miles in less than a week, also testing the endurance of the driver.
