I used corbeau seats, their brackets fit perfectly. I used my own seatblets. The airbag wiring has been my only difficulty, i was able to transfer the passenger seat sensor fairly easily.

Metaltech4x4 makes an OCS module that converts the passenger seat weight sensor to a switch, has an optional wire you can connect that disables the seat belt chime and lights so you can run harnesses, and comes with the resistors to turn off the airbag light. I bought it with my Corbeaus. If that helps.

Ive been wanting to swap seats so bad, my bench seats springs under the left side on the drivers seat all broke and im using 200lbs zip ties to hold up my left leg, also previous owner stripped all the bolt holes out, and left a gaping hole where the front right mounting location would be, so i have to re-tap and weld in new metal :frusty:

I have that actually, though my weight sensor was a different part number that had a different connector. I moved the weight sensor over to the new seat fairly easily, works perfect. I didn’t realize it came with resistors for the airbag! I was so disappointed it didn’t fit I put it all back in the box and haven’t looked at it since. I’ll definitely check it back out!

Highly recommend it if you can! Made a huge difference! I haven’t looked underneath, and the holes in a location you can just put a nut on the bottom side to hold a bolt down?

It ended up in a part of the body I couldn't snake a bolt through, it frustrates me enough where I've considered selling the truck multiple times, every single spot a bolt should thread into is stripped, or like the last pic just a huge ass hole

I’ve had a few jeeps like that it really makes everything about it a pain. Any possibility of putting in random seats and mounts from another vehicle and just welding it down?

I do, but I'm old school. Trucks have benches and sports cars have buckets. :)

I drive my truck like a sports car and with the 885 springs/Nitro shocks and 305 tires it actually handles well and takes turns at speeds like a sports car. So the buckets definitely help hold you in place better than the bench. Now if it only had an engine like a sports car! :D

+1 -- although straight line performance is lacking mine will embarrass sports cars in the corners and on the exit/entrance ramps. If I fitted some real sticky soft compound tires it would be even more impressive. I also own a sports car, a quick motorcycle and a supermoto so I know corner speeds.

Who has a remote start? Wanting to add it but being told because I have manual locks they either won’t do it or it would be a lot more money because they would have to run a bypass to the door

I don't know if yall are still asking seat questions, but I put buckets out of a 2010 Scion xB in mine. Made the mounts myself, they are almost too big. In the middle is a dometic cf11 fridge freezer.

Years ago, I installed a remote start in an old 80's 4Runner. I know I did not hook up any power door locks (not sure if the truck had them). But that was quite a while ago and maybe the newer remote starts are different. Ask them what brand it is and then research it compared to other brands.

I’d like to see that, do you have a build thread or one about the seats/refrigerator?

Now a days some states legally require any vehicle that can be remote started to have electronic locking doors to prevent theft. I know it's stupid. I know for a fact Florida is one because I got a ticket for it
