Got too many trucks. 99, 2.7, 5spd, new bilstein 5100's with ome springs, bilstein 5100's on rear, with 2" blocks, 15x8 pro comp steel wheels with 33x12.50r15 bfg km3's. All new oem front end parts. Steering rack, outer tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, cv axles, all oem, new oem water pump, new oem power steering pump and reservoir. 272k miles, runs great and still has plenty of power to pull the 33's in 5th gear. 3rd gen 4runner buckets seats. Hot heat and cold ac.

Zero, I mean zero rust.

 

what kind of gears? mpg in the city?

 

Stock 4.10 gears. I daily drive it back and forth to work, around 50 miles round trip and I've calculated it to around 18 mpg, give or take a little.

 

brand new, Genuine Toyota cruise control switch arm, wire, beauty cover and intermittent wiper assembly for sale - $200 shipped! Brand new!

 

Any good skid plate/armor that can protect the engine, front differential, and transmission, as well as the catalytic converter? I got it cut and stolen so im trying to make it harder to steal with skid plates and armor.

Took the RC to URE last weekend. First time this one has been on the trails and it didn't disappoint.

 

Is that an arb snorkel? Did you have to modify to fit? On the arb website it only has an application for the v6

 

Yep, ARB Hilux purchased from Cruiser Outfitters in Utah. No mods to the Snorkel itself, but it is a custom fit on both the 6cyl and the 4 banger.

Recommend using 3M Velcro in lieu of drilling holes in the pillar in case you want to change it up.

Anyone seeing any reg cab 4x4s for sale recently? I got a buddy that wants one. He's not looking to spend over 12k but I literally can not find any for sale.

They've all been bought up by places like Carvana and listed for 5k over blue book. Literally like 2 months ago I saw several for sale and now there is nothing.

 

They are all over 12k unless you get one tht needs a lot of work. They dont make em anymore. Before covid it took me 2 months to get one, now itd be impossible to longer

 

Anyone know rough costs of 4x4 conversion? Just randomly curious

I paid $7k cash (in $100 bills) for a 05 w/ 154k miles “neglected” base five lug. It was hit HARD, No glove box, the paint is history, the seat was TRASHED. I was lucky he at least had the oil change. I got a flight from Phoenix to Portland and drove to back to AZ. I had two notes on it setting in our driveway next to the house asking if we like to sell it!
A dealer had the same base 07 with 68k miles and was asking $14,999.00 plus tax & fees. I sent them an email saying I pay them $12,5 in cash! They never replied within a week they removed the listing saying it was sold!

Check with @BassAckwards he might have an idea and @05Taco4x4 he’s done the conversation!
Good luck it’s not going to be cheap. I would just have an TrueTrac installed and call it good!

I would like to have your supercharger, but has everything been sorted out? I know you were our main source for supercharger news, and last I saw, you were still having tuning done.

 

I may be putting mine up for sale soon. I've kind of been wanting a bit more room. It's a 08 4x4 5 speed. Has about 190k.

 

No the tuning is now spot on Thanks to Gabe and Heltech.
I highly recommend the Heltech and a Snow# 2.5 water meth system. The Snow 2.5 system also comes with a boost gauge that you can set the system with. Being there’s no room for an intercooler so the water meth cools the charge going into the cylinder. And if you can inject the mix at the right time you should theoretical be able to run regular fuel. Here in AZ I paid .80 cents more per gallon for premium. But at least I’m getting 20.4 mpg. Out ran a 300Z with fart can mufflers the other day because the driver was driving like a idiot. Some old man in a 4 banger Tacoma put him in his place, how embarrassing is that. It will be even easier with another 125 whp.
The LS has always been a bucket list since my brother lost control and rolled my first V8 transplant about 3 weeks after I got it finished.
