$4500 would be in the realm of gears, rear air locker and air compressor and tax, fluids

I paid a little more but I had the large air compressor and front air locker as well. It seems in line with expectations.

Yeah another $950 for the front locker. I'm still on the fence. I don't think I will need it much.

I agree. BUT you don't need it til ya need it. HA! I just said WTF since now is the time to get it vs. later. I do some overlanding with a trailer and wanted to make sure I never get stuck. (my buddies call me Capt. Overkill and Gear B**ch) . I always live by the Old School Rule... TWO IS ONE AND ONE IS NONE.

With TRACS on and active in front and a locker in back, seems formidable and less risky.

I agree. I am one of those guys that it would bug the hell out of if I went 90%. If you have crawl control I wouldn’t worry about it at all. I earned the title Capt. Overkill.:D:rofl:

Yes, I had both 5.29 gears and both lockers put in at that price But that does not include any sales tax or air compressor

    Not much stock left.
Regarding a front air locker. I had one installed when I did my gears. I’m glad that I did. I some how managed to damage my front drivers side abs sensor wiring harness on the trail. This in turn completely shut down every system that relied on it. And for some reason it made switching to 4LO difficult and unreliable.

Having a functional locker that wasn’t reliant on a computer was worth every penny.

I would agree that in nearly all circumstances a front locker is not necessary. in snowy or icy conditions it could even be hazardous. But if you can afford it and like piece of mind...

Yeah I would think tracs would be better. I've had cars with tracs since 1996, and did just fine on frozen street crud.
