Too much bitching about these awesome machines lately. How about one for the things we like about them and take the whining to one of the 10000 other threads.

The thing I like most about my truck is that not only will it get me to some of the remotest spots I want to go to, through some of the roughest trails needed to get there, but I can be pretty sure it’ll get me back when I’m done.

They may not be the most comfortable or luxurious, but they are by far some of the most mechanically sound trucks on the planet. They start when you want them to, and they go when you put them in drive. Pretty much everything else is window dressing as far as I’m concerned. . .

It’s 90+ degrees outside and my AC is chilling.

I'm positive that this thread will break down into chaos and horror before Friday.

And I can fit 3 chopped up trees in the bed and haul them off to the city recycling center.

And I...uh...get better mileage than my brother's ecoboost Ferd.

New DSP and sub arrives tomorrow just in time for the weekend. Wife gave me green light to have a date with my truck all day Saturday. If i finish early I'm going to take the dog into the mountains to scout for some fishing spots for when my arm heals up. :woot:

It’s the only way my wife will sleep with me... :(

Actually love pretty much everything about my truck. Dash collects and shows dust pretty easy but that’s about the only complaint I be able to think of.

Hell the gen 2 got totaled in Jan (08’, 117k) and still got 19k for it. Amazing resale on Tacoma’s!

My favorite looks are from the Bro's driving the beat to fuck '94 Ranger with white fenders. My wife told our daughter the other day "If you ever date a guy like that..." which almost surely guarantees her teen years will be unfun.

This has been Toyota's M.O. for trucks since time immemorial. They look great, start every time and last 1,000 years.

That’s why I’ve been a Toyota owner almost since the time I could drive. Come to think of it, that goes for most of my entire extended family as well...
