    $358 for rear axle seals seems cheap. Wheel bearings, seals, and brakes, plus labor for $358?

    The job requires a press and it isn't very much fun. Definitely worth paying someone to do

    Everything but the bearings for 358 I didn't get a price with bearings, but I might. The shoe's aonly have 10k on them and he said those could be cleaned.

    If any gear oil touches the pad, they're trash. Same thing if anything gets into the bearing, trash. Not a job you want to do twice.

    I was unsure of that, I've heard 2 people say you have to one say they can "wash" them.
    Got another quote from Phoenix Rack and Axle
    300 without bearings
    760 with bearings
    430 to do both CV's with a lifetime warranty (including them tearing from normal off-road use could be worth it)

    Gonna get probably two more quotes before I pull the trigger :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:



    Definitely if I decide not to have Phoenix Rack and Axle do them. Can't believe Doug's was 700....

    Give Dan at Tempe Imports a call. He's my mechanic for anything that isn't suspension related. I've been going to him for a couple years now. He's the owner and mechanic at the shop.

    Talked to him today, for 780 out the door he will change everything out and upgrade the bearing to some chromoly Nitro bearings, for better durability.

    I will call these guys today can get a price. So far the beefer chromoly stuff sounds nice.
