Unfortunately Kyle I am gonna have to pass on this one, I am going camping, but because of the weekend and because of what happened 2 months ago I am going out with just one other person. I really appreciate the invite and we should totally camp again together soon, but this weekend just isn't good for me.

So this weekend I scooped up some used fabtech suspension. Honestly, a lot nicer than I thought and for $400 bucks I didn't think I could go wrong. Gonna get them rebuilt and put them on by end of summer I hope.

Going to put longer springs on them?

They look like the spring may bottom out before the shock does

Interested to see what you think of them man, nice find!

No, I think it was cause Hombre has them cranked like a MOFO! The Tundra's shocks front and rear are like 3-4 inches shorter than the taco.
That's true.. I may do that

Those coilovers are preloaded way too much. Without longer springs you will get coil bind. If they're already going to be rebuilt it's the perfect opportunity to put new springs on.

What does it say is the length of them? Should be marked on the coils.

Stock on Tundra specific coilovers are usually 13" 600 or 650lb 3" ID springs. I have ran 13" 14" and 16" springs with spring rates between 600 and 700 lbs at several different preloads to experiment to find the most efficient setup. I currently have 16" 700 lb springs for minimal preload and the added weight of a plate bumper and winch.

I have a set of Fox and a set of Camburg 13" 650 lb springs in my garage. If you somehow have shorter than 13" springs currently on there, I'd be interested in letting a set of springs go for cheap. If you already have 13" springs and want lift height, get a set of 16" Eibach springs. Everyone's springs are made by Eibach, they're about $200 for a pair.

Really appreciate the time you took to write all this great information! I do plan on rebuilding them and yeah the previous owner had them wayyyy cranked, hopefully for height and not because the springs are worn out. once I measure them and start the rebuild process I will let you know about those extra coils I am always down for a good deal! what did you do for the rear leafs and did you get uppers for the front? One day I will get a @RelentlessFab front bumper..

I have Camburg upper arms with uniballs. They allow for more droop than can be achieved with the stock upper arm, and the ball joint will be at an unhappy angle with really any lift over an inch.

My rear suspension is a Wheelers 3-pack add a leaf with an Archive Garage shackle flip kit with 6" shackles and 10" stroke Fox shocks.

yeahhh, but this is the only time I've even seen or heard of this system. Hopefully next year I can hit dirty deeds up for a custom exhaust and headers for my ride

Boosting the 2UZ is super sketchy with those cast connecting rods. I'd suggest against it
