Jerry, I have a question- are the bed tie downs supposed to be fixed or is there supposed to be some up/down movement? For me, one side is tight while the other is tight but has some up/down travel.

Once its tight it shouldn't move up and down.

Not to rush you, just curious; what are you going to build first and what's your ETA? Thanks.

All the little things are going to be built first. The sliders will be started last. I cut light bars yesterday those will be ready by the middle of the week.

I'm so confused! I was sent 3 bolts, 5 washers, and a lock nut for my 1st gen light bar. So far I've used the two matching bolts and a washer on each side. I'm left with a bolt, a lock but, and 3 washers???

4 washers for the top mounts one on each side of the light bar. And one on the light bar side for the lower bolt.

I ended up mounting the horn to the slot in the middle of the light bar. wish my lights sat a little higher. thought buying the light bar would fix the fact that they were sitting about an inch low of the horizontal center of the grill. only made them another half inch lower. its more stable than the cheap crap I had on there before though so I'll deal with it.

Yeah there is not much room in the 1st gen grilles the only other way would be to cut a lot of stuff up. Or you can just buy smaller lights.

the smaller lights idea crossed my mind. maybe like some 4" ones. its still a sexy light bar though! especially once I got it powdercoated jet gloss black.
