    Oh yeah dude tow hitch looks like a joke, but it got the trailer home.

    So what we got here is a Genie TML 4000n light tower trailer (no generator). Too may projects at the moment so this one will be on the back burner. Just found a good deal, I couldn’t pass on.

    Beat the heat this past weekend in the Sierras. My brother picked up a gas/electric jeep and wanted to take it out on a local trail near the cabin. Tyler brought his 99 T4r along as well.

    Been busy the past few months getting the house into shape finally getting around to the garage. Goal is to roll the trailer in there but before that can happen need to give the 4runner some love been collecting a few things as well.

    Found a 4 person gazelle at REI used gear sale. Wife loves that you can stand up in it, rosie like that’s she doesn’t have to climb a ladder.

    Picked up this storage system sized to fit GX 470 :D plan on cleaning it up and building mounts for both GX and 4runner but the resting place will be in the trailer when its ready.

    4runner Dorkel Install

    Having install the hilux 167
    eBay dorkel on the 1st Gen

    Wanted to trying the new eBay special for the 4runner. Install is the same or so I thought…. Come to find out the intake tube would not work with the rubber tubing as it came up a few inches short.

    After some research found the part number and called local dealers to find the part in question was special order and pretty much $100.

    Little more searching and found a 97 T4r in a near by junkyard so I thought I’d try my luck.

    had to build a small stack of parts to get access to the passanger front end.

    With some careful balancing I was able to walk away dry.

    it is a little bit longer and only $20 :)
