Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
I'm not really happy how the POR15 looks in my engine bay. I think I'm going to rattle can black semi-gloss over the top of it.

I need to push through and get the old runner operational again.

Got a little done today. Cut the 3.4 crossover pipe up and converted it to drivers side drop.

It's tacked together, but I need to make a couple small adjustments before burning it in. Oh and I ran out of wire in the mig.

Haha, my uncle didn't have any solid wire for the machine he was giving me, but he was still using it at the time. He sent me to buy a spool of wire for it and I came back with the biggest one they had that fit the machine. He looked at me dumb-founded and claimed we wouldn't be able to use that much wire in our life time. I replied, Excellent, then I should never have to buy any wire, just gas and other expendables.

Of course then I have to go and make myself a liar. I need to get a spool of .025" to try to patch the rust holes in his Jeep tub. If it kicks my ass, Plan B is to scab patch it and secure it with JB Weld and pop rivets followed by a coating of Raptor liner.

Got the crossover pipe all welded up today. It fought me a little, my old welding helmet took a shit. Had to get another one. Just a low end Hobart, but it's way better than my old one.

I used my portable band saw for the first time. It made fitting up the tube way easier than a cut off wheel.
