Correct, I wanted the top of my light bar level with the top of the rest of the cross bars for hauling long materials, so it can act as just another cross bar. When you dont have that requirement it should be easy to fit the notched fairing.

And @3378jakesr5 (sweet thats my first tag thing haha), a visor or something is definitely needed. I just got home from Evergreen and its obviously nice and dark and nice and snowy up there so I could finally test it in the real world. I turned on the bar and was BLINDED by the reflection from the light off the snow on my hood. I wiped the snow off the hood and tilted the light bar back one notch and it wasn't as bad, but it still reduced my night vision by the reflection off the windshield and hood by more than it would light up... so it was worse with it on than off. So I'll have to fix that.

I think the main issue is the light reflecting off the windshield. So either mounting it farther forward, so it wont shine down and hit it, mounting it farther back, using the roof to cut off the light from hitting the windshield and probably some of the hood, or a visor type thing to accomplish the cutoff.

And I searched and found that there is a product for it and @Tacoma SS I saw you posted in it..
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/roof-mounted-led-light-bar-glare-solved.377416/

    more edits...
And it may be possible for me to just use the fairing by mounting it up and serving as the light deflector. I'll have to check it out tomorrow when its a nice balmy 14 degrees and probably windy out.

I was planning on color matching my rear bumper today so I went to the car wash real quick to shine it up. But by the time I got home from the wash all of the water that I sprayed on my truck had already frozen. I guess I won't be getting any painting done for a while... :pout:

How're you preparing the chrome bumper to allow the paint to adhere to it?

Use plasti dip as primer. But if I like the look of the plasti dip I might just leave it. I'm planning on getting a plate bumper at some point anyway so it's not too big of a deal. And if I don't use the paint I'll just sell it to @3378jakesr5

Well That's new. Plasti-dip as primer? Does that really work?

The color probably wouldn't be as close and I would have to special order it and I don't care enough for that haha. Plus I think you need a paint gun for the custom colors, they don't sell it in rattle cans like the normal colors

My thoughts exactly. Plus if I'm getting a plate bumper soon what's the point?
