Damn.... I'm travelling this weekend for work, I'll be back in about two weeks. I'll definitely be interested then. If anyone else can't go immediately, maybe we can get another trip together when I get back.

I'll post some pics when I'm close to being done... It's harder than I thought to make clean cuts... I made a few gouges in the perimeter black plastic that you leave in tact, so I'm masking it off and painting it with some Rustoleum bed liner :D.... It's getting there, just lots of test fitting and trimming little bits here and there. The instructions are so vague and nobody else really posted any good pics where you can see just what you need to do.

Well... Here it is... I still need to make some adjustments, but for all intents and purposes it's mounted, I'll throw it back on the truck in the morning and see how she looks.

Thanks man.... There's a few mistakes, but it'll look good doing 40mph down the road. I might go back later and fix some of my hiccups with epoxy. The Rustoleum bed coat made everything at least look uniform in color on the black part.

Hahaha... I'll probably forget you even said anything by the time I get a chance to meet up with anyone

I think I mentioned before I have some stuff going on at work that's going to tie me up for a little over a week. Sometime after the 9th I'd like to see if anyone is up for Shoe Creek.

Got spring break the week of the 12th, late march could work for me. I like camping the nite before makes it a much more enjoyable trip for me than the long combined drives

I hear ya... I love camping out that way... I haven't been to Shoe Creek yet, but I usually get out that way either to Shenandoah or as far south as Natural Bridge and go backcountry backpacking/camping a few times each winter... With the truck I could just throw the sleeping pad and bag in the bed.
