Icon extended travel 2.5 fronts. 2.0 rears.

Couldn't pass up the deal. Just have to get 700# springs to replace the very pre-loaded 650's.

King 14" from DSM. They were on sale a few weeks ago, can't remember exactly what I paid.

My front end is a little lighter, with only a TJM bumper and 9000 lb winch. I currently have 3/4" of preload on the drivers side and 1/2" passenger side to be right at 3" of lift.

Cool. Between the different setup's I have read, I believe I'm going to start with 1-3/4" preload on driver and 1-1/4" preload on passenger. That should put this tank close to where I want it, maybe a little high. It is easier to back off of preload when on the truck.

For reference I like my lift to be about 2-1/4" above stock. This creates a good balance of lift and still plenty of down travel. Also with the angle of the control arms being less steep, this provides for a smooth ride.

 ! Glad you like the skyjacker stuff. I wish more people would give them a chance. It's good stuff at a good price.

Yeah... I wondered why not many people had tried this lift out.... it's a great price, and comes with full leaf packs and new shocks/struts! I've bought skyjacker shocks for my 4Runner... and love the way they ride as well, even after years of use.

Anyway, curious to see how you like those Icon's.... should be a sweet setup for you!

How do you like your sliders with no kick out? I've been told to get kick outs for long beds.

I'm rocking 1/4" of preload on my 700#

Helps when your rear leafs are shot and making frowny faces :D

Having no kick out works for me. Has worked in many states and different types of off roading.

How am I supposed to compare that to my truck from an X-Runner powered by nuclear fission!?

This was not the finalized preload. Ended up with a little over 3/4" on passenger side. 1 1/8" on driver to net 38.5" from ground to flare, measured through center of the wheel hub.

Truck has been maintaining well until recently. Coolant issues with fluctuating temps and running warm.

Ordering a thermostat tomorrow. Hope it is as easy as that.
