I vote you just go straight to the SAS. Saves time and money trying to revert back to the stock bracket.

sounds cool, how can I get the abs to work with the truck?

I don’t want to have a ton of lights on my dash. Seems like anyone who is SAS on a current gen Toyota , CANT explain how to get it to cooperate with the computer.

if I were to Sas I would probably want to use something like a Prorock 44. Driver side drop, and not as huge as a 1 ton axle. Plenty strong to handle 37s.

BTW, it definitely wouldn’t save time OR money, but would be cool anyway

If you look at your channel as a form of revenue generation anything that increases your footprint on the algorithm is a worthwhile investment. Would it be additional work and cost? Absolutely, however the increased viewer base would offset a good portion of that.

Sure, as long as the modifications made don’t kill the resale value on the vehicle itself (already more than it has been). Nobody wants to buy something with the dash lit up like a Christmas tree.

trust me, I’d love a solid front axle. My Cherokee fills that need though (excuse to post a pic from this weekend now;))17E4B0E1-FB96-4BD7-8A2D-1F605A72D9ED.jpg

    Little update on the truck,

    • finally got some decent tires, scored these STT Pros off of FB marketplace for $600. Same size 315/70/17. Tread approx. 80%
    • Leveled the truck(mostly, rear is still about an inch higher to account for gear and stuff)
    • Bought the all new R1234YF A/C fittings, so I’ll be able to charge the system. Didn’t know there was two different size a/c systems now a days? Wtf
    • Brand new throw out bearing is making noise :annoyed:
    • Getting some designs together to make a rear bumper( but probably will end up winging it) BFE49512-DC7B-49AE-8204-024F6A564BF5.jpg
I’m going on a long trip in the next few weeks with the truck(2000+ miles), and I’m looking for some recommendations in the western half of USA. I’ve been to a lot of the southwest, Moab will be on my list ( I try to go every year) Colorado is still snowed in… ideas?

    Stock-ish
Swing up to Washington and lets hit some trails or dunes! Have a couple of great Orv parks on the westside, and have a couple dunes on the East side. Could also hit up some snow on the passes.
