Sorry for the bad luck on this! Nobody likes to hear such bad news about members and drifters no longer being adequate, not to mention now being forced into servitude/no fun weekends/zero camping/and no spare money/a poop machine always in tow, killer of all fun. Basically you now have no balls. I feel for ya I really do!

    Just kidding congrats!

I figured out where and why my frontrunner door leaks, and it's stupid. FR chopped a hole in the outer door material to mount their logo flush. But water intrudes where the sticker is, gets between the 2 sheets of metal, then leaks out on the inside of the bulb seal. I sat in a hail and rainstorm this weekend and finally figured it out. Been driving me nuts for months. I think some people don't have this issue because their FR logo sticker sits in that hole better or something. Nothing a little silicone sealant can't handle though. You can see the cut-out for the logo sticker in the first pic with the screw directly above it. The leak on the inside then drips down from both edges of the sticker, pools on top of the bulb seal on the inside, then eventually drips into the camper. Ugh.

That's awesome, congrats! The Nomad seems to be the answer to all your future questions.

The drifter doesn't seem fazed by quarter sized hail; my hood on the other hand didn't fare so well.

Another reason to get the fan option...

Unexpected snow this past weekend. Wife is medically allergic to the cold, so we cooked breakfast inside the Drifter.

She took these pics while sitting in the overhang part with the folded mattress, 3 pillows and a queen comforter.

Also - got to really take advantage of the clear vinyl windows. Wife got to enjoy the views of the snow in the comfort and warmth of our bed

Oh forgot to mention this pro tip:

Get the cab window slider. All of our clothes, dry food, and other misc crap was all in the back seat and easily reachable from inside the Drifter - all while out of the way from our little make shift kitchen

Does anybody's slider window rattle? It doesn't rattle too much when closed but the glass still feels pretty loose. When open, there is nothing holding the glass and it can bounce around.

Mine is pretty snug. Mind taking a picture of yours?

Also, mine only opens when the truck is stationary. Otherwise it stays closed

Mine is pretty snug when closed. I thought it would be nice to leave the pass through open when the dog is back there but that’s impossible with how loose it is.
