Overall, will the koozie help or hurt my emotional wait for my Drifter?

I'm willing to head to the Van Expo and pick one (or two) up to help with this experiment if needed.

just put in my order, now I get to to learn patience....STOKED though. only option i opted for was factory insulation, dont think i need windoors as its going on a 5' bed. Debating adding the fan option but it seems pretty expensive considering I can add one myself for seemingly much cheaper. does anybody have pics of how Vagabond wired the fan in theirs from the factory? should I opt in for windows and a fan later?

I just want to say that I met @belloinsella recently at his shop and he does awesome work (turns out we’re practically neighbors as well as 3rd gen DCSB owners and mountain bikers). No other connection, and I’m not a Drifter owner yet, but he’s got a legitimate brick and mortar, Made in USA small business employing craftsmen in my town, that looks like a good bet if you’ve got a Drifter (or a Transit) that needs some cool fabric accessories.

I’m not 100% sure so don’t quote me on this but I’m pretty sure if you opt for the fan from VO the roof has additional bracing.

Nice. I ordered mine in March so I was told December/January as well. What is your order number?

Where on the Front Range are you? I'm in north Boulder and would love to see your Drifter in person when it makes it back here. I haven't seen one in person yet.

I think there's one or two already in Colorado, but I'll have mine hopefully in another month or so, it's currently in queue at powder coating.

Are the 6' gen 1 drifters any different than those for newer Tacomas? Debating pulling the trigger on one and just slightly nervous about buying a camper than only fits 1st gens.

Same question for the short-bed 1st gen Drifters. (5 foot 1.5 inch beds - 61.5")

My guess from their Instagram post is that you’re okay...and could even get a Colorado.
