Yeah. And with the other one that was linked above, you are set. When i got mine it was a set with both. Sides and bottom.

but the flat one that goes on the bottom is the most beneficial IMO. Made the biggest difference keeping dust out

Thanks for the info guys! Just ordered the set - flat bottom and tapered sides. Got Rago bed stiffeners on the way too, and Relentless Fab bed rail caps are waiting for me at Vagabond HQ... getting stoked to build this thing out.

Phil/Iggy, are you guys still using the same 3rd brake light? In the moving and packing across the western US, I somehow sheared the wiring off right at the brake light connection. Doesn't appear to be an easy reconnect unless i'm missing something. Wondering if the design has changed.

Good question. Mine wasn't working when I acquired the Drifter second hand and haven't remembered to diagnose it yet.

The wife and I went by the shop today to check out the Drifter. Met up with Phil @Overlanerd, Anderson @Anderson and Jay (I think). Thanks for the hospitality and the walk around your trucks. Even spotted Jerry @JLee dropping off a couple of parts.

We were lucky enough to see all of the current options available. Needless to say we were sold and tried to get a spot in the manufacturing line. Phil doesn’t have the capability to take payment on site, LOL.

So we had to wait a bit to do this and now the “real” wait begins!

Yes in deed, but the real X-mas presents will be in the options!

It’s so fluid. When I’m up no telling what’s going to be available. Phil had a really cool window cut into his Drifter. It’s not for me but if becomes available some folks will absolutely love it.

Yeah what’s up with that tiny window? What’s the purpose for it. Sitting on the can gazing out into the beautiful landscape?

It looks like a sliding window. Might even be a slider+windoor combo

    Check out the build
phils window is a term window often found on expensive RV. They’re often referred to as euro windows.

it tilts open from the inside. It has a pull down big screen and sun shade. The glass itself is dual pane acrilic that’s insulated as well. It’s another option we are working on to fit more peoples camping styles and needs.

All I got out of this was insulated...

Seriously, I’ve checked it out myself in person. It’s cool, but I love my Frontrunner doors for the massive access they give me.

    Now, how to insulate them...

I’ve got “other” things happening though that wouldn’t work with the nifty things they are doing down in Santa Cruz. But, thanks for the nod.

The black housing you see is (I think) 3d printed to hold the actual light. It's stuck on with double sided tape. You can pull it off to see the light. Might be reparable.

I am having a hard time choosing between the standard windoors or the upgraded larger frontrunner windoors. I need to make a decision soon since my Drifter will be going into production next month.

I have a short bed and to me the standard windoors look better on a short bed Tacoma. The frontrunner windoors look more suited for a 6' bed. If I had a 6' long bed than I would definitely want to get the larger frontrunner windoors since having a larger opening on the long bed would make sense reaching in and grabbing stuff.

My question is are the smaller standard windoors big enough to grad something out of a refrigerator from the windoor on a short bed? Will I regret getting the standard windoor option on a shortened??
