With all the windoor discussion, I thought I’d add a thought I had this weekend while living out of the truck... I wish I had gotten solid windoors.

    Also, drifter pics?

You gain privacy and insulation but you're not really losing much since you have the big tent windows when you're actually inside.

No, solid windoors. You can get either windoor (frontrunner or standard) in non-glass so that no one could see through. I would never give up the side access, it's one of my favorite features.

I'm assuming a solid door is going to naturally be more insulating than glass. I suppose I could put some insulated covers over the windoors and leave them in place for privacy. @belloinsella Are you planning to make a side windoor cover?

    Just the basics
Without tent insulation up top, insulation down below is pretty mute. If it's just privacy then just make curtains or use reflectex to cover the windows.

I slapped together some blackout reflectix covers for all four sides, attached using velcro. But yeah, I've found that I never take them down....

Wrap it the windoor with vinyl to solve your issue and don’t look back. Or you can always order solid ones. The latter will be considerably more expensive.

He did measure @tyfoon11 's windows... don't want to speak for @belloinsella , but it looks like that product is in the works.

Because I was planning to install a window on the driver side, we only insulated the passenger side in my camper. I noticed a bit of condensation on the non- insulated side, but none on the insulated side. This was in a wet Sierra snowstorm back in January, and the Buddy Heater was on. It does make a difference. The lower insulation, in my experience, really helps to retain heat and reduce temperatures in summer. Our fabric is 18oz vinyl-coated polyester, like the 4wc's, which does retain some heat. I do typically open the roof vent and windows slightly when running the heater.

We do have a tent insulation package in later stages of development and plan to offer it very soon.

The buddy heater help with the creation of condensation.

Definitely! It hasn’t been an issue unless I’m camping in a wet Sierra snowstorm or in the rain. Sorry, I was trying to highlight that the heater could have contributed to the condensation as well, but wasn’t very clear.

Haven’t had a forced air heater since the Scout, so the Buddy heater has been used since the Flippac.

I’ll eventually have time to install the Propex that’s been sitting in our shop for almost a year...

For the price, the buddy heater is hard to beat. I’ve used it at all altitudes and once you know how to start it, it’s very reliable. It will still be used in the crawler.

The Propex will definitely be a game changer, but it’s 10x the cost. The camper already extends your camping season, so it’s a great investment for winter.

How do you add the "Side Insulation w/ Paneling" if there is a door like Frontrunner on the side? Will you also add some insulation to the door if the optional "Side Insulation w/ Paneling" is purchased?

Not sure about the FR doors, but this is the insulation around a standard windoor.
