Mostly whatever sweet stuff I can find at Vatozone
Mojave Rd itself is not hard at all, but there is so much more stuff out there in the area worth exploring.
Mojave is definitely one of my favorite areas to explore.

Okay... has anyone else taken a saw to their garage in order to fit the Drifter inside? o_O

Yep, I already did it. The fan/deflector shield just needed another 2"... pulled the trim down to the header, notched the siding, re-trimmed on either side of the notch, scabbed in some trim inside the header box sections that were exposed, and repainted everything. Nope, it's not pretty, or perfect - but neither is my old house/garage anyway. It looks good from the street. And most importantly, now I can work on the buildout next to my old-school gas garage heater, instead of out in the freezing Colorado nights.

    Commitment. :D

I used the roof of my drifter to trim some trees around my place yesterday... its sturdy.. and multipurpose, like the rest of the drifter lol

We also have two full winters in WA, lots of road miles and trail miles, holding up great. Starting to see a little oxidization this winter, but it could just be dirt.. haven't bothered checking since the love for the camper outweighs a little oxidization :) That said, I would bite the bullet for black PC if I were to do it again because it looks good

This summer I will probably give it the starbrite treatment like @aaen did.

Your dedication is admirable! In my old garage I would air down to nothing and ratchet strap the ass end down if I needed it in the garage fully!

I think I do. I follow Chris at Venture4wd on You tube and get all of his tracks. He did the Mojave Road last February. I'll see what I can find.

I just realized I meant to post this in the "Drifter Buildout & Mods" thread. Whoops. Anyway, posted the requested photo over there.

Thought about airing down, additional weight, ratchet straps... but really just wanted to be able to park the Taco in there.

I don't know what the height is - I'll have to measure and get back to you on the proper thread!

I may be committing some blasphemy here, but this is such an excellent Drifter resource I would be stupid to not jump on here.

I'm a Frontier owner (we toiled over a Tacoma or Frontier after being a 3rd gen 4Runner owner for many years) and just placed our order for a Drifter last night (1/6/2020). Order #201. Hoping for a delivery by the end of the year so we can do some backcountry ski trips next season! So incredibly stoked and glad to have all these answers already, even if I don't 'belong' here!!! Since everyone loves pics, here's our current ride.

I heard back from Matt at Kinsmen Hardware regarding their 270 awning.
    He said
"I've had some interest so its on the short list but haven't got designing brackets yet. I would need someone local to bring one by my shop."

So if anyone can get him a VO down to South Carolina it would help to move things along.

Or someone could bring a Kinsman to the VO shop so a bracket could be researched on this end

    Check out the build
I think our current 270 brackets will work, we would just need one to test out.

Hmmm... I checked his website a month or so ago and I swear it said he was on hiatus from making anymore awnings, as they had a baby and he went back to the corporate world to be able to support his family.

Edit: I checked again and I see that he is still making them in his spare time and is currently working on a batch. He's just not accepting any orders until he actually has them made.

So how far down do the Relentless bedside caps hang?
I've got some scratches that need to be covered.

    20200107_173447.jpg 20200107_172228.jpg

I've got a set of the KB VooDoo caps, but they won't cover these scratches at all...

Also, will the Relentless caps bolt on (unmodified) with the Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners?
    The VooDoo ones won't:
