I feel like he or someone with a short bed just mentioned in a thread on TW that his was going up for sale but now I can’t seem to find the post.. saw it on IG as well

That drifter for sale was a SB - He wanted $9,000, options were a drivers side windoor. Located in CO.

 

And... This is the reason I cancelled my “Other” camper and ordered a Drifter. There are so many reasons it is a 4 season camper.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I went looking for the post but couldn't find it.

Does out of state pay CA tax? Or does he want what he paid + and extra $1,000 for his waiting time?

Not knocking it down because people would gladly pay to get it now but damn

That doesn't matter in California. You still have to pay sales tax. If Vagabond were to accept cash only and not charge sales tax, they would be opening themselves to investigation by the State Franchise Tax Board and potential criminal penalties including imprisonment and monetary.

California's criminal failure to pay sales tax penalty is a misdemeanor with $1,000 – $5,000 fine and/or imprisonment for up to 1 year. Felony if intent to evade and unreported tax exceeds $25,000 in 12-month period. $5,000 – $20,000 fine and/or imprisonment for 16 months – 3 years.

It did finally! I'm still hunting for the new rig. I'm searching for 2nd and 3rd gens, just can't find the right one. I have another car so I'm being patient.
