Might be a silly question but do you have photos of solid windoors vs. glass?? I’m curious to know/see the difference. Will there be screens included?

would love to see a side wind/door implemented as well. i ordered w/o as its not a deal breaker, but i'll probably get one of these too if it doesn't compete with insulating (must have)

We don’t have pics yet and they should be arriving in a few weeks. We’ll post pics when they do. No screens included since they are used mainly for access. They do include lift- struts.

With the insulation package and windoor, the interior panel surrounding it will have insulation. Like many other campers/ RV’s, the actual window will not be insulated.

    Thank you for the order!

I asked about a screen too (also getting a windoor) but having access makes way more sense. Although, Phil gave me a great idea a lot of vanlife people do: have adhesive velcro around the interior of the windoor and have a separate screen material with a velcro perimeter that I can simply put up when needed. I imagine myself using the “screen” very little compared to wanting to access the side (without opening the swingout, camper back window, and tailgate). But the screen idea will be good for those occasional times I’m hanging out inside and want the windoor open (usually hang out outside)

I have my fridge on a slide in the bed now. After a couple trips of having to open the swingouts, tailgate and window just get to my fridge made me realize i needed side access. Its going to be so much easier to access the fridge as well as everything else back there.
Who am i kidding....i only care about getting beers easily

Forgot to highlight pics of this:

    A2AC93ED-FED8-4C8B-8C95-443F1D7BCF9B.jpg

This 1” lip runs the perimeter of the inside (top) of the camper. That way you can run wires, etc clean. You can see slotted holes along the lip where you can ziptie the wires (Phil showed me some of these fancy zipties that make for a clean finish).

Also at every interior corner is the panel where the interior light option will mount. Kinda hard without showing a picture (which I don’t have), but this is how to run wires vertically in the camper while still looking clean
    ED7A58D3-EE3D-4B29-B7A9-AB14D9B9CE12.jpg

To try and clarify, all the campers will have ^ in the interior corners, however, if you get the insulation option and/or the added lights option, it will come with a custom plate to cover that space. For me, that plate will have the 1 interior light (included) and it will offer a space for rocker switches, extra cig outlets, etc

Thanks MJ! We really appreciate the pictures and are stoked on your roof rack and solar power mods.

Here’s a picture of the panel that comes with the Bluesea option. One switch for the outlets (double USB + 12 volt), one for the LED light, and one blank. Another switch for the fan or red LED, if those options are added.

The standard panel will have a similar setup without the protruding switch and outlet box. It will have the quick disconnect plug (shown at the bottom of the panel), one LED, and a round rocker switch. I’ll get pics posted soon.

I ordered my parts over 2 weeks ago. Are those two 100w panels? I’ve always only run with one (100w). What kind of juice are you seeing?

Yea (2) 100 watt panels. I was running just one on my previous set up, but with all that real estate on the Drifter roof, why not two?

Haven’t tested it in the wild yet, but the day I installed the panels, my aux batt was at 10.5V, when I checked the next day it was at 14.0V

    Thanks for the pics MJ!

As some of you know, I’m super picky about wiring. I like everything to look clean and organized, so when we designed the camper wiring was an integral part of the structure.

The channel MJ has in the pics runs the full perimeter of the camper so all your wiring can be hidden. We have specialized zip ties that make a flush and clean installation.

The corner braces will have panels that will allow different configurations. Right now we have the blue sea outlets and switches as an option, or the stock flat panel with lights. You can also add panels on each corner with more lights.

We are making panels for different configurations, Switch-Pros, propex heater controller etc. All user upgradeable.

Nice! I’ve had it drag wattage in on rainy or overcast days. I’m thinking 2 would fix that issue at least enough to keep the important things (beer fridge) running.

The V2’s have same dimensions as the V1 so it will clear a rack on 3rd gens!
