I was referring to the comments above mine about the GFC having weak hinges. Never said anything about your precious vagabond Ranger Rick.

My black powder coat was inside and outside. The front wall and back door inside are black. Factory insulated sidewalls are covered with a (unknown to me) white material. The front is not insulated which means I will to do something there and also behind the corner panels. Not yet decided what to use. Trying to help keep the furnace from running as much as possible.

happy hunting. The one thing I would change about my drifter would be a long bed version.

Oh. I misunderstood. Then I was actually asking the guys here if there were any issues I needed to be aware of. Glad that's all cleared up.

Nice! I didn't see it posted here or later. What was the powder coat color that matches cement? I assume it has a corresponding coating number that others can use as a reference.

Rest assured there are no issues to worry about with a Vagabond Outdoors camper.
The only issue you will need to deal with if finding places to camp and use it!
You will not be sidelined with hinge issues, doors falling off or any of the other ridiculous issues that other companies campers have.
VO may have fewer campers out there, but they are all built to an incredibly high standard and are built to last. Which definitely can’t be said for other companies. That’s for sure.

Does anyone know what build # they are currently on? Been trying to contact VO via email, but I'm just guessing they are pretty busy

interesting because they’re very active on their Instagram and seems like they have been focusing more on their old builds that need modifications

I've been offroading hard these last few weekends and I keep finding some fine black grain, almost sand like on the inside of my drifter. I'm assuming it's the black coating on the railing where the slide board rests since there's some wear marks but am wondering if it's essential to maintain that in anyway.

Has anyone experienced this too? Should I be concerned, maybe protect it or keep on chugging? I'll have a photo later today of it.

What gives that idea? They’ve retrofitted a couple door seals with customers who bought used campers and needed the alternate tailgate seal. I’m not on IG anymore but I know new builds are coming off the line every week. Not sure why they’re not responding. Keep in mind it’s 4 dudes during another round of shut downs and delays on materials.

Are you certain it's not powdercoat residue from your black powdercoat?

I've thought about that and wiped everything down but it still keeps showing up. Also I don't have anything black inside or outside my drifter other than that railing plastic stuff so I'm guessing that's my culprit?
