Question. Is the fan hardwired in or is it battery operated?

On my last truck yes, not the third gen.

I think we're making the same point though haha! P.S. sell the Habitat already and jump on board!

A few pages back someone explained that they had a few orders sit for a very long time due to inability to source the aluminum. Quite a few orders will be in the 18 month range with new ones getting back on track for a year build.

True that. Definitely new. Reading up. Not even complaining about lead time. I just ordered. Was just curious and excited. Vagabond looks like a great product. Saw one in the wild when I was in a fire in CA this year. It was wonderful... beautiful even. An amalgamation between elegance and blunt utilitarianism. Like a unicorn. Can’t wait for the day. It’s gonna come quick though. If this fire season was any indication this next year will go by just as quick due to how busy it been.

What rear grab handle is that you have installed on your Drifter? I need to install one.

I wish Phil or iggy would just hop
On the spreadsheet and keep us updated. It would ease our minds and also keep him from getting tons of emails.

in response to all the concern with Vagabond Lead times; when I last spoke to Phil they were in the process of hiring three new employees. He also mentioned acquiring a new warehouse nearby to store extra materials to keep builds flowing without having to wait on parts when they start new builds. last thing he said was that they were able to get over the massive roadblock that COVID created and started ramping production up again due to finding alternate suppliers. He sounded pretty confident with his 12 month estimate as well.

Is there a way to keep the Drifter lid locked from the inside without having locks Like a latch or something? I'm just curious if there's anything keeping people from cutting some padlocks to get inside.

Also anyone have a picture of a windoor on a 6' Drifter? Trying to get an idea of placement
