No paid person will ever be as meticulously OCD as I am so if I can, I just do it myself. Otherwise, I have anxiety if the paid person does something that isn't perfectly level, square, or plumb and they wind up hating me.

Does anyone have some data on how much electricity the fan pulls?

Figuring out my solar needs and not sure if 2 100w panels is the route or if 1 160w will be enough to keep a Yeti 1500 charged for a CFX55, fan, and some USB charging

Hello, I am new to this forum and I found this thread yesterday.

I ordered The Nomad 6.5ft back in Oct 2020 for my Tundra DC, Invoice#1331. Hopfully I get the camper before 2022

Here is the amperage draw from a prior post:

    Level 4 - 3.0 A
    Level 3 - 1.5 A
    Level 2 - .65 A
    Level 1 - .23 A

I have found that I usually use the fan in the evenings only, even when the temps are above 100. So, it hasn’t been a large source of power draw. I think the fridge will be the major power draw.

I know this is rare, but it has worked before...

If anyone has a Nomad for 6.5' bed that they want to sell, PM ME! I'll give it a year or so before I place my order for something different.

I have my build date for my 1st Gen Tundra soon but I got this cab rack and I'm wondering if theres any way to clear this 4.5" so I don't have to cut my rack.

Someone gave me an idea of putting washers to lift my bed, but I kind of don't want to break it apart and pull my bed out because my bed buildout is already bolted to the floor and set for the Nomad.

Any suggestions for anyone who cleared their cab rack?

Does anyone know where a replacement lid for the fan can be bought? Mine seems to have cracked on one side.

Anyone know if builds have been put on hold? Coming up to 15 months and no word. Spreadsheet hasn’t been updated in a while. Getting a little nervous.

Mine was 14 months. Have you made your final payment? Usually about a month before your build is completed VO will collect the remaining balance if you paid half upfront.

I have only had it for 6 months so it may still be covered by warranty. I will reach out to VO, thank you for noting this.

No word here (#152 & 16+ months) and I emailed Phil for any sort of update a month ago and haven't got anything back. Most recent update I have seen from anyone was in the comments on the last release video on Instagram talking about hiring more and additional warehouse space to increase production but other than that silence. My previous personal guess with the Covid impact put my delivery mid January or 18 months. Now without any information on additional deliveries (did see pictures of a couple builds that looked nearly complete on a build out post a week or two ago) I am becoming more resigned to the 5-6 a month build rate or more like a 20 month (mid March 2021) delivery. I get your anxiety and am right there with you.

Im 140 I made my final payment early September since then have had no communication. It was supposed to be finished late October early November yet, still no word and I have reached out. I’m officially done trying to figure out when I’ll get it. At this point I’m making February plans just hoping I have it by then.... It’s been very frustrating.

Sitting on 17-18 months now with over 13k+ sitting in their pockets. Pretty nerve racking with little communication. I’ve been trying to ship an awning there but want to confirm that’s ok before I do it.

I know everyone says it’s worth it and I’m sure it is as long as you have no plans for when you will receive this. I had a lot of company things I was planning which all have been scrapped. I have meetings in California that are waiting for me to travel there and sob story sob story...

You all will hear from me as soon as I get it though.

Wow, 20 months is crazy. Did you get a Nomad and that is what caused the extra, extra wait? Or was it something else. And I am sure you will get asked by others, so doing it here, what is your order number?

The warranty is through Maxxair so you work with them instead of VO. I followed their warranty and emailed rvpsupport@airxcel.com. They sent me a brand new one as soon as it was back in stock, super easy.
