wonder if I could just use ketchup like on the old penny collection when I was a kid. Yeah I had a super exciting childhood let me tell ya. Three kids my age in the neighbour hood. One family, well they were the odd ducks, the other one him and i use to get into all sorts of trouble.

I used to use #2 pencil erasers on the contacts of my electric slot racing cars. You may want to buy a few boxes of pencils, @aaen

Agreed. I think we should start the home-built camper craze. Those that can't hack it with welding aluminum, sewing heavy vinyl-canvas and procuring the raw materials will ending up being customers anyway... It's a win-win! Right?

I'm not talking the bullshit wood-framed-aluminum-skinned camper...

Totally understand! I will likely wrap my side panels at some point. Having said that I probably would have had ours powder coated if it were an option :)

Agreed, I would have done the same. Now it will be wrapped, or possibly painted/clear coated to prevent further oxidization.

Are there any Drifter owners in the Portland, OR area? Could I buy you a couple six-packs of microbrews (or a couple weeks of Lattes) you?

My wife and I will be in Portland this weekend (12 or 13). We are about ready to pull the trigger on a Drifter and would like to experience the camper before dropping the dough.

We had a deposit on another camper, but have come to Drifter because of the large interior space in LB trucks and the ability to insulate in the winter. We live in eastern Washington. It gets cold here in the winters.

DM me if you would be willing to share your Drifter for 15-20 min.

Damn, I would almost drive down for this!!! All it would cost is a handshake and a cold beverage which I would trade a six pack of cdn stuff for.

Are there pictures of the Drifter’s various powder coat options? Black, grey, and white?

Going to sleep... India time. Hope to put my order in when I wake up!
