I was surprised @jberry813 didnt opt for the rainbow powdercoat option. Then his pegicorn chariot would have been complete.

Caveat Emptor being I’ve never met him and am just poking..

For those of you tempted to come to BC for driftergeddon, aka the. Drunken brewery tour, i’m Busy pulling together a bunch of trails in BC around the Kootenays so it can be strung together for a few days outting.

I’ve got a few ideas, just trying to figure out how to connect the dots, with.no crazy hardcore trails.

FYI, this may just be a meetup for just me, bored waiting on the next contract to start in two months time. Sadly, dog training, snowshoeing, Netflix, getting caught up on the news over the last two years and tacowor,d is all I got.

Well, to be honest, i wouldn’t call it the unofficial beer of drifters. It’s more like the official water of drifters.
    Aren’t i right dad? @tacomgee

Are many of you installing front tire downs? The ones that are triangle shaped that mount in the front of the bed. They attach to the bed rail on the cab and also on the bed sides. Any added strength by doing this?

They seem pretty cost effective from BAMF.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned elsewhere but the Drifter fan option has the fan installed “backwards” which while it means you can’t have it open when you drive, it does mean you can have it open while it rains.

You can see here why having it mounted backwards is (IMO) the better option especially if you live in an area that rains

All Drifters come with a diamond pointed roof as well right? To help water/snow slide off?

Absolutely! This is just another one of those things where you can really appreciate @Overlanerd and his expertise with several different camper set ups. I’m convinced that everything on the camper is well thought out and functional.

I know I’ve talked about this before, and it’s absolutely subjective, but although the Drifter may not look as aesthetically cool as other camper options or truck set ups, every damn thing on this camper has a purpose! And if you go out enough, it doesn’t matter what looks prettier in an Instagram post. All that matters is ease, comfort, and functionality. With that being said, I’m definitely not saying that the Drifter is butt ugly. I actually think it looks bad ass
