    The second day of elk season here in Washington I was lucky and found a spike that wanted to commit suicide so he walked out in front of me. :) The area I hunt in is "true spike" only so they have to have a spike on both sides, not just on one side like most areas.

    65 yards with a 7mm Wby and 160 Accubond and he only moved about a body length and was down. :)

    What area were you hunting? I hunt ellensburg. I would wake up in the morning in my cabin in winter and have herds of 200+ surrounding the house. No joke, its sweet lol.
