Yep... I did my skids myself and got runs in it even with taking my time. Didn't care as they would get abused.

I paid around $200 or so to have my Front with Center hoop done I think. I think it was less...

So less than that honestly. Just call the shops around there and they should give a good estimate on price.

@trekker how much did you pay for your rear? I know it was not a standard... but would give a good estimate as well.

Hey guys! How's it going on this fine Thursday??

@ETXTacoma my PC cost 600 bones for both bumpers and a few other small items like frame braces and rear fender braces. I don't remember what the breakdown was but the vast majority was the rear bumper... but my rear bumper is high clearance so it had the big side wings, and a tire swingout, and a flip down table on the swingout, and dual jerry can holder on the swingout... also the latch gave the coating shop some problems as well as the flip up license plate holder. It was a pain lol but would have been way worse if I tried to paint it myself. If it was a standard rear bumper it'd cost about 150ish like our front bumpers.

That blows... but I guess it's better to happen now than when it's 100 degrees and you're left stranded somewhere.

Dual battery setup may help ya :boink:

Well for one... I had a 24f battery and I needed a 27f battery... not sure how that happened. Still trying to figure that out.

Not sure I would go the dual battery route right now... maybe when I get a fridge... but who knows.

I did my dual batteries early on to prep for toys. I'm thinking of picking up a 50 quart fridge from the GB since I missed out on the ARB deal over Christmas. Still not sure how I wound want to mount it though.

Which fridge? I should have done the ARB fridge deal when 4WP had it... but I didn't and now regret it.

Yea, really the only other electrical thing I would do would be the fridge more than likely. Nothing else really needed that I can think of. Going to get a battery jumper to keep in the truck just in case while on trips though.

    Damn you....

Was looking at the ARB 50... but that is super tempting, looks well built, has good customer service, and that price is pretty damn good without also having to buy a slider or mounting bracket.

Going to have to do some more research on these... though and see if I can do that right now.

Thought about removing the back passenger seat completely and building a platform out of Alum that uses the same bolt holes. That way it is a solid mount and puts it low in the rear to be able to open the lid to get stuff out. That way it is in the truck in the AC on trips and not under the shell getting dirty, hot, and all jumbled around on the trails.

Glad I could help feed your addiction lol

From what I've read on these is they use most of the same internals as the ARB fridges, so they should be stout.

I use my back seat still so I may have to work up a bed slide mount and reconfigure the lid to open along the long axis like a guy did in that thread I linked. I would much rather have it inside though... maybe I'll just buy it and force myself to figure it out one way or another :goingcrazy:

    All good!

Yea, that is kinda what I read as well. They look interesting and like they would work. Just going to research them a bit more and see.

Also, I need to do my Taxes and see exactly how much I am going to owe and see if it is even something that is viable right now.
